Athletics

In late September most of the pupils took part in the West Clare Cross-Country races. It was a wet, cold and rainy day. They competed in U8s, U10s and over 10s. Five people got through to the Clare cross-country finals in Lees Road. Nicole Griffin won her race in the U8s. The U10 girls came third in the team event. The over tens did very well with only 3 runners. Well done to all of the runners.

A huge congratulations to all those who took part and represented the school with great spirit and enthusiasm. Well done to those who won medals and trophies.

Thank you to all the parents who helped out on both occasions. Go raibh míle maith agaibh.
